The spring edition of Hunter Library’s newsletter, The Clarion, is now available. Read about the digitization of WCU Yearbooks, beginning with the earliest edition published in 1918 under the title Oogoocoo. Our feature article, from Head of Special Collections, George Frizzell, announces the donation of 700 new letters, cards, photographs and published materials which now comprise the “Horace Kephart and Laura Mack Kephart Family Papers” collection.
We congratulate librarian Krista Schmidt for winning a national award from Library Journal magazine. Then, follow up with us on a story from last year's edition of The Clarion documenting 2012-13 Hunter Scholar Mae Miller Claxton's project on the library's Horace Kephart collection.
